T
he individual PPT’s below T1.ppt thru T0.ppt, these are the presentations for the specific Sub-elements…. The T1 is the first one and the QA means that there are Q&A’s at the end of this PPT…so it starts off with the Info slides, goes to the “Take Away” slides and then goes to the Q&A’s. The PPT files are good on newer computers. All files are for non-commercial use and considered placed in the public domain. No translating to another language and selling them that way to get around this request. There are about 35MB of files so I hope you have broadband capabilities for the downloading.
Each PPT has three sections to them. The first is what I call the “Information” part. This is the guts of the lessons. The second part is what I call: “Take Aways” and this section is a condensed set of the ‘info’ section. The third section is the questions and answers for that sub-element. Lots of custom animation throughout the PPT’s. Each question in section three will show the correct answer by the next mouse click.
The first slide in each PPT will need your editing. I have included on the first slide of each sub-element my organization and date of the lesson. Obviously you want your own organization on this first slide and your date if you want. There is also another PPT that is just the questions and answers … all ten sub-elements in one file. I have one Word document that is questions and answers in the following format: Red print of ID at top of each page. Black question followed by Blue answer. No question numbers and no A B C D in front of answers. This is 40 pages long. One cover page, two for Table of Contents and two for index. Thanks to Paul, N5IUT, for adding the five additional pages for this file. Each page of the 35 will have one question from it for their exam. Random by the software you use to generate the exams, but each page is dedicated to one letter sub-section of each sub-element.
Keep in mind, these files have been received from N8KBR, Earl, and I edited what he sent me. He did the rigorous task of typing the basic info into Power Point and sent me those slides. Then I imported his slides to my template and did the custom animation and addition of pictures and graphics. We who have been involved with this project have been doing it for the ‘love of our hobby’ and do not expect any commercial use from our efforts. These files are public domain and you may edit them to suit your specific needs.
Any questions about why I did what I did and how I did it, please email me directly and I’ll share what ever you need. If you have any suggestions as to how I could have done something differently, please also send this to me so I can learn other techniques. I’m 63 and still learning.
Feedback, comments, suggestions, etc will be greatly appreciated so we can use them for the next project which is the General License.
