We set up 100 yards off this beach nestled in the trees among the markers of the Historic Buildings in Fort De Soto. The buildings are no longer there just brick pillars where they once stood.

The weather was perfect and the insects were no bother unless you stepped in an ant pile.

Our view to the East was the beautiful Sun Shine Skyway Bridge crossing the mouth of Tampa Bay.

The view was incredible with the shipping channel being close to shore.
