Jim is the one driving

Many people ask how did the group get together and where did the name come from... Well Jim N4AAC and Mike N4MAA grew a little tired of club meetings where people argued over small things. Several other people let their feelings known so Jim said we need a repeater of our own. Jim and I put it together with many people helping and it has become "a repeater for the rest of us."

The name is derived from Phonetics Alpha alpha. If you say alphalpha quickly it sounds like Alfalfa hence the logo.
